Kusum Lata Jain
Kusum Lata Jain holds a Master's degree in Sociology and Public Administration, and was trained at Cranfield University, London in Women Entrepreneurship Development (1994). The first woman to work on HIV/AIDS in Rajasthan (1991), she has implemented 15 HIV/AIDS intervention programmes among tribal communities. She has restored 6 ancient step wells, formed 780 SHGs across 266 villages involving 8,000+ women, planted 83,000 trees, and rehabilitated 700+ leprosy patients. She serves on the Social Welfare Board of Rajasthan, the Animal Welfare Board of India, and the Juvenile Police Unit of Jaipur.
